Special Election – Sunday Liquor Licenses

Election Day is Tuesday, April 8, 2025. Polls are open 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Residents vote at Baldwin City Hall (30239 128th Street NW, Baldwin, MN 55371).

Absentee Voting

Absentee ballots will be available at Baldwin City Hall starting February 21, 2025. City Hall hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed for lunch from 12:30 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Extended absentee voting hours at Baldwin City Hall are:
Saturday, April 5, 2025 - 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Monday, April 7, 2025 - until 5:00 p.m.

PUBLIC ACCURACY TEST: A public accuracy test will be held on Friday, April 4th, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. at the Baldwin City Hall, 30239 128th Street, Baldwin, MN for the purpose of demonstrating the accuracy of the programs to be used at the special election on April 8th, 2025. The demonstration is open to the press and the public. This test includes the City of Baldwin Precinct 1 and Precinct 2 for the April 8th, 2025 special election. 

BOARD OF CANVASS: The City Council will meet on April 14, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. at  Baldwin City Hall to canvass the election results from the Special Election of Sunday Liquor Licenses. This meeting is open to the public.

 

Residents are reminded that it is against the law to plow snow from your driveway across a public road way.

Please also note there is no parking on city roads from November 1st through April 30th.

Obstructions

 No person may place, maintain, or allow any obstruction in a right-of-way other than those specifically permitted by this Article, by state law or rule, or by written approval of the City Council. Items prohibited by this section include, but are not limited to, fences, posts, structures, piled materials, hay bales, vehicles, trailers, campers, equipment, or any other items that interfere with the safe use or the maintenance of the right-of-way. No person shall park a functioning vehicle in a right-of-way in such a way as to unreasonably interfere with the safe use of a road or the maintenance of the right-of-way. North Sandy Lake Boat Launch is currently closed due to ice heaving. Please use the South Sandy Lake Beach access if you are entering or exiting the lake with a vehicle.
