Planning Commission duties include collaborating with professionals and the community to prepare and keep current the Comprehensive Plan. Commissioners review zoning issues, development proposals, land subdivisions, variances, conditional/interim use permit applications, and review ordinance amendments.

Planning Commissioners are appointed by the City Council and serve staggered 3-year terms. Planning Commission meetings are staffed by the city's Planning and Zoning Administrator, Dan Licht, with The Planning Company, and City Council Liaison Jay Swanson.

Meetings are held the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at 7:00 PM at Baldwin City Hall.

The public is welcome to attend any of the regular scheduled meetings.
